This leadership course will help participants review the characteristics of effective leadership, analyze the principles of leadership used by recognized leaders within business, military, political, social issues and sports and prepare a Developmental Application Plan to achieve success within their own Educational setting. Participants will be able to review leadership skills and qualities as demonstrated by these leaders and be able to reflect upon the meaning and the application of those principles and attributes to 21st century real life school situations.

This administrator academy will focus awareness of the impact of trauma on student learning and include guidance on developing trauma-informed, school-wide practices that will benefit all students.
Participants will be provided resources that will engage and support understanding among staff, including modeling restorative practices and positive behavioral supports.
Time will be provided to develop a timeline for professional development and implementation plan.
Administrators' Academy credit but any educator may attend.
STUDENT GROWTH ACADEMY - Required for both Teacher and Principal Evaluators. This is the REQUIRED student growth RETRAINING course for principal and teacher evaluators who are renewing their designations required to evaluate staff. Evaluators will be required to participate in a pre-session webinar that will review Part 50 Administrative Rules as they relate to student growth. Participants will learn how to:
• Use assessments and measurement models to determine student growth.
• Use data from the evaluation rubric, other evidence collected and best practices relative to student growth to link teacher/principal professional development plans to evaluation results.
• Create targeted professional development plans to school improvement goals.
• Communicate evaluation outcomes and findings that enable teachers/principals to set goals and improve practice.
NOTE: Participants will have one week following the Academy to complete their Application/Dissemination component and send to the presenter for review and comment.
THIS IS ONE OF THE COURSES THAT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ADMINISTRATORS WHO EVALUATE PRINCIPALS.
All administrators who evaluate principals are required to take retraining within their 5 year renewal cycle in TWO specifically approved Administrators' Academies.

This is one of the teacher evaluator practice academies that need to be taken for retraining of teacher evaluators.
The student growth academy is also required for both teacher and principal evaluators.
This academy will allow participants to learn effective skills and strategies for using Charlotte Danielson's Frameworks in a summative setting in order to more effectively;
1. Identify evidence at the component/element level during formal and informal observations
2. Use evidence to effectively rate staff on the levels of performance for each domain
3. Acquire strategies to support effective collaborative conferencing around formal and informal observations and
4. Learn techniques, strategies and protocols to use when conferencing with staff.

The purpose of this workshop is to introduce participants to the student safety assessment process. Using social media, cell phones, or in conversations with peers; students make threats to hurt themselves or others. How these situations are handled is vital to the safety and security of our students and the liability to the district.
Before the Crisis is a course that will enable participants to assess the severity of a threat, analyze the safety of the students and staff and collaboratively develop a plan of action to protect and support the students.
