2020
Presenter(s): Matt Jacobson/LTC Illinois

Online Course,
Date Summary:   1 Session on 04/30/2020.

Description:

As more school districts develop Remote Learning Day Plans, it is vitally important that teachers develop strong and meaningful Remote Learning Day activities for students. Recent legislation surrounding Remote Learning Days requires that classroom activities be inclusive of students with special (IEP/504) needs, as well as students with no or limited Internet connectivity at home. This workshop will explore ways to design engaging instructional activities that will support student learning no matter what the weather brings.

Join us as we explore:
- Remote Learning Day legislation and ISBE's requirements for classroom activities.
- Samples of successful Remote Learning Day implementation and activities.
- Guidance on how to include students with special (IEP/504) needs.
- Strategies for including students with limited or no Internet connectivity at home.

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop will require a stable internet connection. Registered participants will receive a course link via email prior to online session.
