E-Learning Plans: Guidance For Administrators
Start Date: Thu, Apr 30, 2020 8:30 am - 11:30 am Workshop #: 7067
Presenter(s): Matt Jacobson/LTC Illinois

KIDS - Main Training Room, 300 Heart Boulevard, Loves Park, IL 61111 (View Map)
Date Summary:   1 Session on 04/30/2020.

School districts may use approved e-Learning days in lieu of emergency days. However, recent changes in legislation now include more stringent requirements to ensure participation and equity of access for all students. How do you draft an E-Learning Plan that has more than a "snowball's chance" of being accepted?

This informative and interactive session will help school and district administrators navigate the new requirements and draft a high-quality and inclusive E-Learning Plan.

This 3-hour workshop will provide:
- An orientation to E-Learning Day legislation and ISBE's requirements.
- Examples of successful E-Learning Day implementation.
- Ways to identify potential E-Learning Day issues, and how to plan accordingly.
- Guidance on what to include in your application to help you move closer to an acceptable E-Learning Day plan.

PLEASE NOTE: Each participant should bring a laptop or tablet to access online resources and create their own documents.
