Date Summary:   1 Session on 08/15/2019.  

Description:

Educators will learn to recognize the signs of human trafficking and domestic violence, as well as strategies for appropriately responding to those signs. Participants will learn what agencies are available for support and how to access them. This summit includes the effects of trauma on child development, trauma-informed responses and the connection between violence, trauma and human trafficking. All school staff are welcome to attend.

Registration is 8:00 - 8:30 am, the training will begin at 8:30. Continental breakfast will be served. Lunch is on your own - a one hour break is allotted.

PDC's will be available.
