Presenter(s): Katie Elvidge

KIDS - Kishwaukee Room, 300 Heart Boulevard, Loves Park, IL (View Map)
Date Summary:   1 Session on 08/02/2018.

Do inquiry and the new Social Science Standards have you overwhelmed? Are you asking yourself,"How do these standards apply to my students?" and "How do I get started?"

Join us for a day of learning and planning for the up-coming school year. This session, led by state social studies content specialist Katie Elvidge, will spend time looking at the inquiry process and strategies for effective implementation in the classroom. The afternoon will be dedicated to spending time with other educators planning an inquiry. Come ready to plan and with a unit in mind and/or resources you would like to use. You will leave this session having planned your own inquiry for the new school year!

This program is partially funded with federal grant dollars.
