Description:

"My students need more practice in writing informational text. What resources are available to help me help them organize their thoughts and get them on paper? What is the best way to model this type of writing?" This workshop is designed to help educators locate and use resources that can be used in teaching research writing based on two pieces of Informational Text and a video, involving historical or scientific content. Theory and practice will be modeled at the session.

Participants may bring a laptop, but it is not required.

Please note, we will be working the entire time, if desired participants may bring a lunch and beverage.

This program is 100% funded with federal grant dollars.
