Date Summary:   1 Session on 06/27/2018.

Using standards to drive a student-led classroom may seem like an oxymoron. However, there are many evidence-based instructional strategies that fit a standards driven curriculum and are well suited for all learner. When teachers design student-driven classrooms and help them understand and apply the qualities of good learner, students begin to take responsibility for their learning, increasing their drive, motivation, and achievements. Attendees will leave the session confident in strategies that can be used in creating student-led learning environments where students see themselves as their own teachers.

This workshop is partially funded by federal grant dollars.
