Recent research shows that using timed tests to assess fact fluency produces a block to the working memory where math facts are stored. This may cause math anxiety that can last a lifetime! Participants will receive resources for developing alternative methods to assessing fact fluency, which will provide more in-depth information for helping students achieve.
