Description:

The new IL Social Studies Standards provide a pathway for students to engage in informed action to address compelling questions facing their community. Learn how to design and assess service learning projects, no field trip budget required! Walk away with free resources to support the new civics requirement and standards implementation. Explicit connections will be made to the IL Social Studies Standards, the Common Core State Standards and the Danielson Framework for Effective Teaching.

This program is funded with federal grant dollars and the McCormick Foundation.
