School leaders are under great pressure to produce "right brain" outcomes of student achievement. At the same time, current research reflects the growing need to develop "whole brain" capacity if students are going to be able to succeed in the emerging global economy. In this workshop, participants will learn strategies that can assist in teaching core academics for at-risk students, bright but disengaged students who tend to drop out of school, and students who must be prepared to deal with life by operating from both sides of the brain. This academy will look at the trends that are changing American's role in a global economy, the Six Senses for Right Brain Thinking, how to lead schools in integrating those senses with left brain application and bring the whole brain learning.
